Dr. Krystal Chee

Dr. Krystal Chee completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Arizona, and then went on to graduate as a Doctor of Optometry with honours from U.C. Berkeley, School of Optometry, earning the national Student Award in Clinical Ethics. Her optometric training included externships at Veterans hospitals in Portland and San Francisco, where she worked alongside ophthalmologists to diagnose and manage conditions including retinal disease, glaucoma, and cataracts. She is passionate about thorough, comprehensive eye care for patients of all ages, and has a particular interest in contact lens care and myopia control. She is licensed to prescribe topical and oral therapeutic agents for the treatment of ocular conditions.

Dr. Chee has volunteered with many local community screenings as well as an eye care mission trip to Mexico in 2013. She is a member of the Ontario Association of Optometrists and the College of Optometrists of Ontario.

During her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband cooking and traveling, and she enjoys calligraphy and watercolour in her free time.
